Still, the 92FS is a very popular pistol, and if you already own the 92 and get a Cx4, you’ll only need one type of magazine in addition to only one type of ammunition. It depends on which specific model you choose to go with, as it will accept either the Px4 or the 92FS magazines depending on the model. This means that the Cx4 does NOT accept magazines from both the 92FS and the Cx4 at the same time. We’ll find out soon.The Cx4 9mm carbine from Beretta is chambered for the 9mm Luger and is also designed to accept Beretta magazines from either the 92FS or the Px4 pistol, depending on what model of the Cx4 you get. Inside, the platform includes a reciprocating mass inside the forearm. The Homesteader comes with fully adjustable sights. It also sports a relatively light weight, making it a solid choice to take on the go. The compact platform sports a short overall length, making it suitable in a CQB role or home defense. The Homesteader also features controls centrally located to work for both right- and left-handed shooters. Threading the muzzle also enables easy use of desired muzzle breaks or compensators as well. Suppressors continue increasing in popularity and would be extremely welcome on this platform. The Homesteader also comes with a threaded barrel for suppressor use. With the ability to swap to the magazine system of your preference, and magazines pushing over 30 rounds, it should provide a heckuva day on the range as well. But the semi-auto 9mm should fill about any roll where a PCC sees use. Henry Homesteader DetailsĪs the name should imply, the Homesteader targets land owners, ranchers or even those seeking a solid home defense gun. Better still, the convertible design enables shooters to pick running a provided Henry 5- or 10-round magazine, or a popular Glock, SIG Sauer or S&W M&P-style mag.
